Do you know a researcher – client- or supplier-side – who selflessly gives their time and talent to make the world a better place? This award is designed to recognize that person!

The MREF Everyday Hero award is given to a researcher who is making a difference in or outside of their community but who may not be getting the accolades they deserve. This individual is impacting their world through efforts such as:

  • Volunteering a significant amount of time/resources.
  • Volunteering at a worthy non-profit.
  • Doing the behind-the-scenes work an organization depends on.
  • Leading and encouraging others to give back through volunteering or other efforts.

Submissions must include:

  • 500-word executive summary about what this person has done to deserve the award.
  • 150-word publishable summary describing the submission.
  • At least one recommendation from community members, colleagues or partners showcasing how the nominee meets the criteria.

Individuals must be currently employed by a market research firm or in the market research department of a corporation. Volunteer efforts need to be individual, not part of the nominee's professional (paid) philanthropic activity.
Self nominations are accepted. Previous winners of the Marketing Research and Insight Excellence Award MREF Everyday Hero category are not eligible.
