The Qualitative Research Impact award recognizes an individual or research team that has made an outstanding contribution to business objectives using qualitative research. The nomination must show substantial use of qualitative methodology and excel in the following areas:
· Actively pursues further education and best practices in qualitative research and/or mixed methodology
· Proven impact on business objectives
· Excellent collaboration with internal or external partners
· Commitment to promoting the impact of qualitative research
Nominations must prove a focus on qualitative methods. All entries will also be judged on the execution of at least one research project. It is open to suppliers, end-clients and supplier/end-client teams. Independent moderators are also eligible. You can nominate yourself or your own team.
Submissions must include a 250-word statement outlining why the individual or team should win the award, using metrics to support the claims, along with a 500-word synopsis of a completed or ongoing research project that is qual-focused. Nominations must include one recommendation/testimonial (max. 250 words) that showcases the impact of the individual or team. We recommend also submitting supporting materials (case study, additional testimonials, infographic, metrics, etc.).

Winners will be announced at The Marketing Research and Insight Excellence Awards – Powered by Quirk’s, taking place on November 9, 2020 at The Edison Ballroom in New York City. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2020 we are NOT requiring finalists to attend the award ceremony and accept the award in person. We will continue to monitor guidelines and travel advice from the CDC and the WHO and, if the gala is able to take place, finalists will receive a single complimentary gala ticket (a $400 value) (nominee can designate someone to attend in their place). In the event an in-person gala cannot take place, finalists will be provided with information regarding a virtual awards ceremony.
